I am a Costa Rican Physicist and Software Architect who enjoys scientific Simulation Programming and Web/Multimedia Applications Engineering. I have extensive experience on Rich Internet Applications (RIA) software architecture design, ranging from backend system to frontend implementation on diverse deployment environments, including web and mobile. Some of the technologies I am strongly oriented include:

  • Java EE Frameworks: Struts, Hibernate, Spring
  • Java technologies: JSP, JSF, JPA, Portlets
  • Coldfusion: FuseBox, Coldbox, ColdSpring, Reactor
  • Database Servers: Oracle, MySQL
  • PHP Zend Framework, AMFPHP
  • Adobe Flex: Cairngorm, PureMVC, Mate
  • HTML5, CSS, Javascript (YUI3, Prototype)
  • Mobile: Android - Blackberry - iPhone
  • Game Engines: Unity3D - Adobe Director

I focus on Java EE technologies, Adobe Coldfusion and open source frameworks for complex business systems architecture and development, as well as frontend development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 and Flex Framework.

I have worked for several digital content companies in and out of my country delivering complex systems architecture consultancy as well as RIA development roles focusing on backend integration and deployment. I have been recently involved on mobile integration and portability on many different projects, ranging from portable application architecture design to brand-specific goals in Android/iPhone.

I am particularly interested in 3D online games and scientific simulation programming for web and mobile environments, tailoring custom game engines and/or fully deployed games/apps for specific platforms on Flash and Unity3D.
